Adelene Kemplin Easterling

Adelene Kemplin Easterling, 93, of Jeffersonville, KY, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, at her home surrounded by loved ones. Adelene was born on February 18, 1931 in Ezel, Kentucky.A dedicated seamstress, she worked for 48 years at Cowden Manufacturing in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was a member of the Little Easter United Baptist Church of Jeffersonville, KY.

Adelene is survived by two children: Linda Schultz of Jeffersonville, KY and Scott (Maureen) Easterling of Winchester, KY; two brothers: Drexel (Alberta) Kemplin of Lexington, KY and Ron (Neva) Kemplin of Athens, Ohio; four grandchildren: Hearl Ray Schultz of Jeffersonville, KY, Caitlyn (Ben) Neltner of Lexington, KY, Abby Easterling of Lexington, KY and Caden (Lauren) Easterling of Winchester, KY; three great-grandchildren, Dalton (Haley) Schultz, Wylie and Rhodes Neltner; and two great-great grandchildren Skylar and Samuel Schultz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Winnie Pieratt Kemplin, brother Estil (Ruby) Kemplin, brother William Jr. (Lona) Kemplin, brother Homer (Marie) Kemplin, sister Pauline (Mack) Morris, brother Lexie (Betty) Kemplin, and her beloved husband of 60 years, Hearl "Baden" Easterling.
