Born on January 23, 1963, in Detroit, MI, to the late Emory and Georgia Jenkins Martin. Alice devoted her life to nurturing her family and creating a warm, loving home.

Alice was a woman of unwavering faith in the Baptist tradition. She poured her heart into every aspect of her life, from preparing home-cooked meals to cherishing precious moments with her grandchildren. Her nurturing spirit and selfless acts of kindness touched everyone around her. As a dedicated homemaker, Alice found great joy in caring for her loved ones, most notably during her time caring for her late husband, Charles "Chuck" Evans. Her profound love and devotion were a beautiful testament to the compassionate woman she was.

An avid reader and crossword puzzle enthusiast, Alice found joy in life's simple pleasures, and the countless ways she made those around her feel loved will be remembered fondly.

She leaves behind her loving children, Jennifer Kazmar, Steven Evans (Julia), and Ashley Blome (Brett); cherished grandchildren, Cade, Haley, Dylan, Ethan, Kamden, Bentley, Raegan, Taylor, Garrett, and Katherine; loving companion of 5 years, Mike Covey.

In addition to her late parents, Alice is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles "Chuck" Evans; siblings, Vicky Patterson, Debbie Marlow, James Martin, Dee Martin, Eddie Martin, and Dennis Martin.
