Autumn Lea (Stockdale) King

November 6, 1981 — September 20, 2021

Autumn Lea Stockdale King, 39, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday morning, September 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  She was born in Mt. Sterling on November 6, 1981 to Dudley and Peggy Sonier Stockdale.

Autumn was a Montgomery County Native, of the Catholic faith, a graduate of Montgomery County High School, class of 2000 and was employed as a floral designer with Always In Season Florist and Gifts.  Autumn was a happy person that had a smile that would melt your heart, she was honest and funny, with a joking personality.  She loved traveling to the beach even though she hated to get wet.  She enjoyed watching softball, U.K. basketball and baking desserts, she loved her family and was an amazing mother.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Autumn is survived by her beloved husband; Tony King; adored daughter; Grace King; loving mother; Peggy Stockdale; two brothers; Phillip Stockdale and Andrew Stockdale; best friend; Shannon Bailey, all of Mt. Sterling and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Autumn was preceded in death by her father; Dudley Stockdale.

In keeping with Autumns wishes and to honor the love she shared with her daughter Grace, memorial contributions may be made to the Autumn King Memorial Fund at Peoples Exchange Bank, by mailing them to 3 Willow Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
