Bedford Ray Shepherd

Bedford Ray Shepherd, 81, of Mt. Sterling, died Saturday, March 13, 2021 at his residence.  He was born in Mt. Sterling on July 14, 1939 to the late Ernest "Erie" and Becky Estes Shepherd.

Bedford was a Montgomery County native, of the Jehovah Witness faith and retired from Hobart.  He enjoyed; fishing, hunting, whittling wood and when he was younger, playing tennis.  He'll be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by one daughter, Delilah Dollar of Burnside; two sons, Emery Shepherd of Burnside and Doug Shepherd of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Burl Shepherd of Mt. Sterling, Millard Shepherd of Jeffersonville and George Kevin Shepherd (Margie) of Owingsville; one sister, Francis "Sis" Shepherd Shanks (Edgar) of North Carolina.

in addition to his parents, Bedford was preceded in death by wife, Sue Barnes Shepherd; son, Jeremy Shepherd and two brothers, Bob Shepherd and Carl Shelpherd.
