Beverly Jean (Reffitt) Craig

Beverly Jean Reffitt Craig, 75, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Windsor Care Nursing Home.  She was born in Mt. Sterling on June 2, 1944 to the late Estill and Mattie Staton Reffitt.

Beverly was a lifelong resident of Mt. Sterling and member of Christian Assembly of God.  She loved her church and spending time with her grandchildren.  Beverly was an excellent cook and looked forward to having loved ones over for meals.  Her church, friends and family will miss her dearly.

She is survived by three sons, Ritchie Craig (Robin) of Jeffersonville, Blake Craig (Erin) of Lexington and Randy Craig of Mt. Sterling; seven grandchilren, Cynthia Adams (Jeremy) of Mt. Sterling, Beth Woosley of Clay City, Bailey Craig of Jeffersonville, Ashley Craig, Brice Craig, Piper Craig and Lucy Craig all of Lexington; three great grandchildren, Seth Adams, Devon Adams and Chase Adams all of Mt. Sterling; daughter-in-law Patty Craig of Lexington and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years Newton "Wayne" Craig; three sons, Keith Craig, Darrell Craig and Dudley Craig; two brothers, Paul Reffitt and Red Reffitt and three sisters, Geneva Allen, Hazel Caudill and Marybelle Thompson.

Visitation will take place Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Christian Assembly of God.  Private committal service Friday, May 29, 2020 at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Brother Scott Barnes will be officiating.
