Brenda Lee Charles

Brenda Lee Charles, 50, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday morning, January 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. She was born July 12, 1963 in Lexington to the late James and Clara Dixon Charles.
Brenda has lived in Mt. Sterling for the past ten years but formally of Winchester. She had Down syndrome disability but that didn't effect of love of life. Brenda had a child like playful attitude, never knew a stranger and hugged everyone. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan, especially wrestling. Brenda loved spending time and playing with her great nephews and nieces, she will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include; one brother, Donnie Charles of Winchester; one sister, Debbie Johnson (Charles) of Cynthiana; two aunts, Anna Dixon of Winchester and Elizabeth Rose (Delbert) of Somerset; two nephews, Ricky Johnson (Ericka Churchwell) of Mt. Sterling and Chris Ritchie of Florida; one niece, Charlotte Alsept of Lexington; four great nephews and nieces, Trayven Johnson, Noah Johnson, Jasmine Johnson and Stormy Johnson all of Mt. Sterling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Wiley and Connie Long.
