Brooks Morris Whitley

Brooks Morris Whitley, 76, husband of Maria Theresa Whitley of Jeffersonville, died Friday, September 13, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Salyersville on January 19, 1937 to the late Dudley and Elizabeth Allen Whitley.
Brooks moved to Montgomery County eight years ago, having previously lived in New Carlisle, Ohio. He worked as a Skilled Carpenter for Exhibit Concepts in Vandalia, Ohio until his retirement.
Survivors include; his wife of 13 years, Maria Theresa Legaspi Whitley of Jeffersonville; three sons, Perry "Buddy" Whitley(Sheryl), Bo Whitley, and Seth Angelo Whitley; four daughters, Brooksetta Whitley, Melissa "Missy" Whitley Blevins (Gerald), Melinda "Susie" Whitley Neeson, and Kristine Whitley; three brothers, Richard Whitley (Norma) of Salyersville, James Whitley (Ethel) and Midas Whitley of Dayton, Ohio; sister-in-law, Gladys Whitley Hamilton; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Keith Whitley; two brothers, Jack Whitley and Beecher Whitley; two sisters, Beatrice Whitley-Hale and Froney Whitley; son-in-law, Dan Neeson; brother-in-law, Berlie Hale; sister-in-law, Lillian Whitley.
Visitation will be Monday, September 16, 2013 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at First Church of God, 1051 Camargo Road, Mount Sterling, Kentucky.
