Carl M. Franks

Carl Milford Franks, 71, of Winchester passed away on Tuesday morning, January 18, 2022, surrounded by his loving family at his residence.  He was born in LaFollette, Tennessee on October 24, 1950 to the late Christine Williams Franks.

Carl has been a resident of Clark County since 2012, he was a member of Reid Village Baptist Church, Mt. Sterling and an auto detailer.  He enjoyed; watching westerns, fishing and porch sitting.  He will be dearly missed by the family he adored.

Carl is survived by his loving wife of thirty years; Nancy Franks; three sons; Darrell Pittman (Michelle) of Winchester, Robert Snowden (Chevelle) of Campton and Charles Snowden of Lynn, Indiana; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three brothers; James Franks (Margaret) of Campton, Johnny Franks (Kathy) of Ohio and Jackie Franks; sister; Shirley Brundon of Campton.

In addition to his mother, Carl was preceded in death by his son; Jay Franks and two sisters; Lucille Pressnel and Cleta Mullins.
