Carol Ann Lawson

December 15, 1948 — August 7, 2017

Carol Ann Lawson, 68, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday morning, August 7, 2017 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  She was born December 15, 1948 in Middletown, Ohio to the late Carl and Deloris Thompson Lawson.

Carol was a life-long resident of Montgomery County and a member of Grace Fellowship Tabernacle.  She loved attending church and in the past she and her husband would sing at church.  Carol was a UK basketball fan and she enjoyed playing cards; Phase 10 and Rook and most of all, spending time with her family.  She will be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.

Survivors include; her beloved husband, Darrell Lawson of Mt. Sterling; one son, Mark Schultz of Mt. Sterling; four daughters, Charlotte Mobley (Kenny), Sherry Risner (Gary), Angie Cole, all of Mt. Sterling and Janet Dimuzio (Dan) of Independence, Kentucky; three brothers, Gary Lawson (Joyce) of Winchester, Larry Lawson (Faye) of Richmond and Carl "Tater" Lawson of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Sandy Barnes and Joann Lawson, both of Mt. Sterling and Sharon Romine (Shawn Albert) of Elizabethtown; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sister, Marylin Jones, Barbara Lawson and Patty Martin; one grandchild, Anthony Lyman and one great grandchild, Micha Johnson.

Funeral will be Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 12:00PM at Queen Street Christian Fellowship, Visitation will be prior from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.  Burial will follow at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Dale Fawns will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Robbie Cole, Ray Botts, Josh Mobley, Brian Barnes, Bobby Barnes, Chad Lawson, Michael Lawson and Gene Mobley.

Honorary Pallbearers: Colby Lee, Shawn Albert, Bob Caudill, Anthony Schultz, Chelsey Schultz, Selina Lyman, Carla Moore, LaShanna Snowden, Taylor Raines, Tracey Shrout and Kem Lee.
