Carolyn Mae (Donaldson) Keath

April 2, 1943 — August 23, 2020

Carolyn Mae Donaldson Keath, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, August 23, 2020 at her residence.  She was born in Mt. Sterling on April 2, 1943 to the late Clyde and Martha Gilvin Donaldson

Carolyn was a Montgomery County native, a member of the Rolling Hills Church of Christ and a retired librarian for the Montgomery County Board of Education where she served at numerous schools in the district.  She was a1961 graduate from Camargo High School and completed her education with a bachelors of art degree at Morehead State University.  Carolyn was a member of the Secret Pal Group and also sang at her church.  She enjoyed traveling and spending time at their home in Okeechobee, Florida, riding motorcycles with her husband, but her greatest passion was being a wife, mother, grandmother and being a Christian.  She will be dearly missed by her family, friends and church family.

She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-six years, Larry Keath of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Chris Keath (Rena) of Lexington and Mike Keath (Tiffanie) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Missy Roberts (Brian) of Mt. Sterling; four grandchildren, Logan Roberts (Sara) and Trevor Roberts, both of Mt. Sterling, Caleb Keath and Katherine Keath, both of Lexington; two sisters, Deloris Rogers of Paris and Betty Collins of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her two brothers, Everett Donaldson and Frank Donaldson; one sister, Elma "Tibby" Beck.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 1:00PM at Machpelah Cemetery.  Danny Murphy and Jerry Carmichael will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Rolling Hills Church of Christ-Malindi Mission Fund, 125 Rolling Hills Drive, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.

Pallbearers: Elders of the Rolling Hills Church of Christ, Russell Rogers and Bart Rogers.
