Chelsea (Stidham) Hutton

February 2, 1920 — February 22, 2017

Chelsea Stidham Hutton, 97, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday evening, February 22, 2017 at the Windsor Care Center.  She was born February 2, 1920 in Hyden, Kentucky to the late Shade and Susan Asher Stidham .

Chelsea moved back to Montgomery County in 2004 from Berea, she was a member of the Crestview Holy Sanctuary Church in Berea and previously worked as a custodian at the UK Medical Center.  She enjoyed serving God, being a prayer warrior, cooking, canning, vegetable gardening, and needle work; quilting, crochet, and sewing.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include; two sons, Virgil Stidham (Ruth) of Peebles, Ohio and Walter Hutton (Denise) of Ft. Worth, Texas; one daughter, Carlie Hutton Willoughby (Garry) of Jeffersonville; twelve grandchildren;  fifteen great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "T" Hutton; one son, Lester Hutton; five brothers, Rufus Stidham, Henderson Stidham, Emery Stidham, James Stidham and Boyd Stidham; threee sisters, Margaret Stidham, Minnie Sizemore and Grace Feltner; one grandchild, Clifton Stidham.

Funeral will be Friday, February 24, 2017 at 2:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at the Christian Assembly of God.  Committal will follow at the Machpelah Cemetery.  Pastor Scott Barnes will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Mark DeLong, Stephen Willoughby, Cody Willoughby, Eric Jones, Sandy Willoughby and Kelli Willoughby.
