Danna Lou Hovermale

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Danna Lou Hovermale, who left this world peacefully on May 4, 2025, at the age of 69. Born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, to the late John & Louise Jackson Hovermale. Danna was a beloved seamstress known for her exquisite craftsmanship, particularly in creating beautiful wedding gowns that adorned countless brides on their special days. Her mastery of the sewing machine and her eye for detail were just a few of the many talents that defined her life.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Danna had a warm and spirited personality that drew people in. She loved to celebrate life and enjoyed gatherings with friends and family, always bringing laughter and joy wherever she went. An avid fan of the University of Kentucky basketball team, Danna stood proudly among fellow enthusiasts, cheering for her Wildcats with unwavering loyalty and passion.

Danna is survived by her cherished brother, Gerald Hovermale, who will carry forward the memories of their time together, as well as the laughter and love that defined their sibling bond.

Though her physical presence may be gone, Danna Lou Hovermale will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her, a reminder of the warmth, creativity, and unabashed joy she brought into the world.
