Danny Edward Terrell, beloved husband, loving father and grandfather, and dedicated bus driver, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at the age of 72 at Clark regional Medical Center. He was born on June 7, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and later made his home in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.

Danny devoted many years of his life to serving the community as a bus driver for the Bath County Board of Education, touching the lives of countless students and families. He was a man of strong Christian faith, who found joy in simple pleasures. An avid fisherman, Danny loved spending his time fishing for catfish along the Ohio River, where he created lasting memories with friends and family. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his passion for fishing, Danny was a skilled woodworker who enjoyed crafting nicknacks, children's toys, and furniture. His craftsmanship reflected his creativity and dedication, providing warmth and joy to those around him. He also had a love for Westerns and was a loyal supporter of the Dallas Cowboys, often watching their games with enthusiasm.

Danny is survived by his wife of 41 years, Amanda Terrell, who was a steadfast companion and partner throughout their years together; Children, Melissa Allesi (Tim), Lisa Terrell (Billy Sackreiter), Brandi Terrell, William Hart III (Amy), Daniel Terrell, and Michael McAnelly (Andi); grandchildren, Jakeb, Hannah, Jenna, Hailey, Sarah, Ella, Kayla, Ana, Draven, Nicholas, Christian, Benjamin, Piper, Merida, and Waylon; great grandchildren, Melody, Riley, Macie, and Bryar; siblings, Debbie Stewart, Teresia Powell (Bob), Greg Terrell (Norma),Vernon Terrell (Tracey), and Randall Terrell (Patty); nephew, Kenneth Barnett (LaShawna).

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, William Terrell and Ida Compton and his siblings, Billy Terrell and Faye Tuttle.

Private service in the near future.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and will live on in their hearts forever.
