David Dean McCarty

David Dean McCarty, 67, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday morning, July 1, 2022 at University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky.  He was born December 8, 1954 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to the late Ernie and Victorine Lykins McCarty.

David was a Montgomery County native and a retired self employed carpenter.  He enjoyed running and operating his own construction business, wood working and restoring vintage Ford cars.  He will be remembered as a kind hearted giving person and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his nephew; Joe Centers of Mt. Sterling; three nieces; Heidi McCarty Anglin (Mick) of Middletown, Ohio, Lisa Muncie (Travis) of Jeffersonville and Robin McCarty of Mt. Sterling; great niece; Mallory Fielder of Jeffersonville; great nephew; Taylor Holt of Middletown, Ohio; sister-in-laws; Christine McCarty of Mt. Sterling and Connie Craig of Mt. Sterling.

In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by four brothers; Bert McCarty, Harold McCarty, Kenny McCarty and Gene McCarty; sister; Norma Centers.
