David Wayne Wagoner

September 15, 1962 — October 19, 2022

David Wayne Wagoner, 60, of Mt. Sterling passed away Wednesday morning, October 19, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born September 15, 1962 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late David and Carolyn Ingram Wagoner.

David has been a resident of Montgomery County for the past year, following his move from Menifee County.  He was of the Christian faith and was an HVAC technician.  David was a people person with a joking personality, he was a  hard working family man and was very giving.  He enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing, watching westerns, art, poetry, model cars and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

David is survived by his two cherished sons; David Charles (Jessica) of Danville and Darrin Wagoner (Jessica) of Mt. Sterling; adored daughter; Brittany Wagoner of Mt. Sterling; three beloved grandchildren; Dean Wagoner, Raylond Charles and Luke Wagoner; special friend; Tommy Durham of Frenchburg.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his sister; Roberta Wagoner Ballard.

Celebration of life memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, October 24, 2022.  Visitation will be prior from 12:00PM - 2:00PM.  Both will be held at Ascension Episcopal Church 48 West High Street Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.  Sallie Razor will be officiating.
