Deborah Ann Fritz Robinson

Deborah Ann Fritz Robinson passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 9th, 2026, surrounded by her family. She, along with her loving family, fought hard against Alzheimer's; however, Debby never lost bits and pieces of her intellect, wit, and love for family and friends. She was a vibrant person who loved swimming, hiking, kayaking, camping, arts, crafts, sewing, crocheting, games, UK and Montgomery County basketball and volleyball, traveling, the mountains, and the beach. She devoted 25 years of her life to educating students in Montgomery County Schools.

 She is survived by Jimmy, her husband of 55+ years; daughter Micah and son-in-law Billy Ray Fawns; son Gabe and daughter-in-law Kerry Gagnon; grandson Luke and his wife Allie; and granddaughters Erin and Miles. She is also survived by her brother Mike Fritz and his wife Rosie; and her brother-in-law Harold Routt. She leaves behind many cousins and friends, too numerous to mention.

 Debby was preceded in death by her parents Joe R. and Pat Fritz, and sister Pam Fritz Routt.

 The community has lost a unique individual loved by so many, as evidenced by the outpouring of love and support as she was nearing the end of her life. A celebration of Debby's life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at First Christian Church's Fellowship Hall, with a Gathering from 1:00PM -3:00 PM to reminisce about a life well lived.

 In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Red River Gorge United, Alzheimer's Association , or Wolfe County Search and Rescue.

 There will also be more celebrations of her life and spreading of ashes at Cave Run Lake and Red River Gorge later this summer.
