Deborah "Debbie" Ann (Brown) Goldy

Deborah Ann Brown Goldy, 70, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Monday evening, October 10, 2022, at her residence with her loving family.  She was born on May 29, 1952, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, to the late J.B. and Mary Elizabeth Brown.

Debbie was a Montgomery County native and member of First Christian Church.  She was a lifelong educator and technology leader for Montgomery County Schools.  She had a love for family and will be sadly missed by everyone she touched.

Debbie is survived by her son; Jason Goldy (Lori) of Waxhaw, North Carolina; daughter; Beth Goldy of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren; Maren, Colton and Adelyn Goldy, all of Waxhaw, North Carolina; and sister; Vicki Brown of Mt. Sterling.

A celebration of life service for Debbie Goldy will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Post Clinic, 15 Sterling Avenue, Mt. Sterling, the Sterling Food Coalition, P.O. Box 637, Mt. Sterling, or the Gateway Regional Art Center, 101 E. Main St. , Mt. Sterling.
