Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Spencer-Puckett

Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Spencer - Puckett, 70, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington.  She was born on January 4, 1952, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, to the late Clarence "Red", Sr. and Helen McPherson Spencer.

Debbie was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith and a former banking officer with Community Trust Bank.  Debbie was a graduate of Montgomery County High School, class of 1970.  She was a great cook and enjoyed; fishing, traveling, flower gardening, spending time with her family and watching U.K. basketball, she bled blue.  Debbie will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Debbie is survived by her husband; Charles Puckett of Mt. Sterling; brother; Clarence Spencer, Jr. (Teresa) of Mt. Sterling and several beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by two sisters; Betty Smallwood and Patricia Rogers.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Little  Slate Cemetery.  Pastor Skylar Smith will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Clarence Spencer, Jr., Stephen Smallwood, Skylar Smith, Vernon Rogers, Chris Rogers and Kyle Rogers.

Honorary Pallbearers: Jackie Rogers, Tim Sponcil, Jakob Sponcil and Jim Whitecotton.
