Dee Ford Stull

February 21, 1934 — April 2, 2020

Dee Ford Stull, 86, of Mt. Sterling, died Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Baptist Health in Lexington.  He was born in Bath County on February 21, 1934 to the late Woodford Clay and Leona Ford Stull.

Dee was a lifelong resident of Bath County and a retired truck driver for Cowden Manufacturing.  He was born and raised in the community of Preston, a place that was always close to his heart.  Dee enjoyed trading guns and knives, the yearly Preston Festival, loafing with friends at Blevins Grocery and spending time with his family.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Velma Wyatt Stull of Mt. Sterling; one son, Kevin Stull (Angie) of Lancaster; three grandsons, Daniel Stull (Rachel) of Godfrey, Illinois, Joshua Stull (Kiona) of Lake Wales, Florida and Noah Stull of Lancaster; one brother, Melvin Stull (Carolyn) of Salt Lick; one sister, Louise Clarke (Kenneth) of Indiana and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

In addition to his parents, Dee was preceded in death by his brother Glen Stull.

Celebration of life memorial service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 4:30PM.  Visitation will be prior from 2:00PM-4:30PM.  Both will be at Blevins Grocery Store in Preston with Brother Lowell Rice officiating.
