On Monday, July 14, 2025, the world lost a bright and caring soul, Donna Denise Peyton Yenger, at the age of 59, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born on March 14, 1966, in Mt. Sterling, to the late Delbert and Dorothy Robinson Peyton. Donna embodied the spirit of kindness throughout her life. A dedicated Nurse Aide, she devoted herself to caring for others in the medical field, demonstrating the same compassion and warmth that characterized her interactions with family, friends, and community.

Donna was a woman of deep faith, who found joy in singing at her church. Her voice, warm and inviting, resonated with those around her and was a testament to her love for God and community. She was a welcoming presence, always ready to offer assistance and support to anyone in need, embodying the true meaning of hospitality.

In her leisure time, Donna pursued a variety of interests. She found joy in arts and crafts, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity and talent. She also had a passion for family entertainment, often found enjoying the comedic relief of "Mama's Family" or cheering passionately for her favorite wrestlers. An exceptional cook, she delighted her loved ones with her culinary creations, adding a special touch to every gathering.

Donna is survived by her two beloved sons, Taran Page (Jamie Johnson) and Brandon Green (Brandi), who carry her spirit forward in their lives; 9 grandchildren; great grandson, Ryder Green; special friend/boyfriend, Toejoe Dickey; siblings, Sharon Peyton, Paul Peyton (Frances), Linda Looney, Donnie Peyton (Joyce), Patty Stewart, and Nina McMahan (Rod); fur baby, Stripe.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her sister, Rebecca Peyton; niece, Ashley Kemplin and fur baby, Benji.

Memorial service will be Saturday, August 9, 2025, 3:00PM at Owingsville Christian Church. Lonnie Peyton and Billy Dickey will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions towards services performed by the funeral home. Mail contributions to her son, Brandon Green, 4434 East Highway 36, Owingsville, KY 40360.

As we reflect on the loving memories shared with Donna, let us honor her commitment to kindness, faith, and family. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us to cherish the moments we have and to extend compassion to those around us.
