Douglas Neal Shearer, 43, of Frenchburg, died Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013, at his residence. He was born February 24, 1970 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Charles Douglas and Myra Yvonne Moore Shearer.
Doug had resided in Taylor, Michigan before moving to Menifee County 5 years ago. He was a self-employed carpenter and an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include; three sons, Douglas Daniel Shearer, Dillon Shearer and Charlie Shearer all of Taylor, Michigan; one sister, Denise Carol Crouse of Hixon, Tennessee; several uncles, aunts and cousins of Menifee County; and a very special friend, Amy Reffitt.
