Duane Thomas Hill

Duane Thomas Hill, 80, of Cynthiana, died Tuesday morning, July 25, 2017 at Edgemont Healthcare. He was born December 30, 1936 in Iowa City, Iowa to the late Albert & Margaret Hill.
Duane moved to Kentucky from Iowa and previously resided in Carlisle and Harrodsburg, he was a United States Army veteran for three years and was stationed in Germany in 1954 and he previously worked for Remmers Tomkins Flight Service, Antenna Craft Electronics, as a tobacco laborer for the late Charles Ring and Le Lynn Machining . Duane enjoyed playing video games, reading, listening to country music and his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; six sons, Tom Hill (Marie Waters) of Iowa, Kent Hill of Colorado, Tony Hill of Iowa, Wayne Hill of California, Tim Hill of Iowa and James Hill of New Jersey; one daughter, Shari Hill of Carlisle, Kentucky and fourteen grandchildren; his previous wife from 1958 to 1975, whom they had eight children, Rachel Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death one son, Terry Hill; seven brothers and eight sisters.
Graveside service will be Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00AM at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
