Eddie was proud to serve his country in the Army National Guard, embracing the values of discipline and camaraderie. He later channeled his hands-on talents into a successful career in the construction industry, where his dedication to craftsmanship as a welder, millwright, master
drywaller and concrete worker left an indelible mark. He relocated to Frenchburg, Kentucky, 24 years ago.

A member of the Christian faith, Eddie found solace in his spiritual beliefs and shared his joy through his involvement in the Theta Chi Eta Gamma fraternal organization and the American Legion, where he fostered connections with fellow veterans.
In high school, Eddie was a member of the track & field and cross-country teams where he set and broke numerous records.

Eddie had a multifaceted personality, enriched by his diverse range of interests. He was an avid reader and writer, a talented artist in drawing and woodworking, crocheting hats, scarves and blankets, and an enthusiastic fisherman and hiker. Eddie also knew his way around a garden and the kitchen as he prepared many meals with his delicious organic vegetables, homemade bread with hand grounded grain and sifted, and many baked and decorated birthday cakes for family members. He relished spending time riding motorcycles and four-wheeling, often cherishing the moments spent with family and friends, especially his family.
