Elaine Ethel (Vogel) DeChene

Elaine Ethel Vogel DeChene, 79, of West Liberty, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center. She was born August 2, 1937 in Chicago to the late Susan Geiling and Charles Vogel.
Elaine moved to Morgan County two months ago from St. Petersburg, Florida. She enjoyed playing bingo, teddy bears, embroidering and watching TV, most of all, spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by her family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; five sons, George DeChene, Jr. of Illinois, Paul DeChene (Tiffany) of Florida, Thomas DeChene of West Liberty, Charles "Joe" DeChene of Florida and John DeChene of West Liberty; one daughter, Bonnie Hall (Andrew Sword) of West Liberty; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George DeChene, Sr.; her daughter, Mary Ann Randol; her brother, Floyd Vogel; two sisters, Nan Bailey and Dorothy Haney.
