It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of "Jo" Etta Faye Shultz Davis, who left this world on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the age of 95. Born on April 8, 1931, in Owingsville, to the late Leslie and Mary Blevins Shultz. Jo lived a life filled with love, laughter, and compassion. A longtime resident of Mt. Sterling, she was a beloved member of the Rolling Hills Church of Christ.
Jo was a dedicated hairdresser and proudly self-employed in the cosmetology industry. Known for her talent and warm spirit, she never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome. Her home was always open to friends and family, where she enjoyed entertaining and hosting gatherings filled with joy and laughter.
An ardent UK basketball fan, Jo brought enthusiasm to every game. She enjoyed family camping trips and had a passion for floral arranging that brightened the lives of those around her. Her culinary skills were unmatched, as she was an excellent cook who delighted in creating meals for those she loved.
Jo is survived by her children, Bobby Paul "B.P." Davis (Connie) and Suzanne Davis Hite (Dan); grandsons, Eric Davis (Kelly) and Evan Davis (Rachel); great grandchildren, Lucy Davis, Stella Davis and Maggie Miracle; sister, Carolyn Cline along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Her humble attitude and genuine compassion touched countless lives, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her late parents, Jo is preceded in death by her loving husband and best friend, Bobby Davis and siblings, Betty Williams and Jim "Buster" Shultz.
