Evelyn Mae Willman Ferguson, passed away peacefully at Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville, on Monday, July 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on July 17, 1945, in Campton, to the late Ernest and Tye Willman.
As a devoted homemaker, Evelyn created a loving environment that was a testament to her passion for family and togetherness. She was known for her sassy personality, a spark that drew people to her and filled every room with joy. Evelyn had a special talent for crocheting, creating beautiful pieces that will forever hold sentimental value for those who received them. She was also a talented cook, always ready with delicious meals and new recipes that she loved to collect and share.
Evelyn is survived by her children, Larry "Ernie" Ferguson (Brenda), David Ferguson, Lavonda Denham (Jeff); grandchildren, Joshua Ferguson (Leslie), Nathan Simpson (Athena), Franziska Esteppe (Jonathan), and Alissa Denham; great grandchildren, Tyson Ferguson, Noah Ferguson, Emily Ferguson, Skylar Simpson, Kylee Simpson, Gracen Esteppe, and Wesson Esteppe; brother, Jim Little. Their lives were enriched by her unwavering support, love, and laughter, a legacy that will undoubtedly continue to live on through them.
In addition to her late parents, Evelyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Ferguson; grandchildren, Ashley Ferguson, and Chris Ferguson; siblings, Betty Fraley, and Billy Willman.
Private family graveside service on July 30th, 2025 with Reverand Tyler Robbins officiating.
She will be deeply missed but always remembered fondly, as a source of light, laughter, and love in our lives. Evelyn Mae Ferguson will forever remain a treasured guardian in our hearts.
