Gayle Lynn Liss

Gayle Lynn Calkins Liss of Mt. Sterling passed away Sunday evening, January 26, 2014 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1946 in Dixon, Illinois to the late Norman and Elaine Klotz Calkins.
Gayle was a former resident of Chicago, Illinois, and more recently Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as an assistant store manager for Excalibur Hotel Casino in Las Vegas for several years until her illness would no longer allow. She moved to Montgomery County six months ago to be near her daughter, Robin, during her illness.
Survivors include; her devoted husband of 46 years, Norbert John Liss of Mt. Sterling; two sons, Scott Liss of Las Vegas, Nevada and Marc Liss (Michelle) of Seattle, Washington; one daughter, Robin Waters (Greg) of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Janice Mulvihill (Jim) of Huntley, Illinois; three grandchildren, Tyler Waters and Danielle Waters both of Mt. Sterling and Jacob Liss of Seattle, Washington.
There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00AM. Father Frank Brawner will be officiating.
