George Henry Jones

George Henry Jones, 82, of Mt. Sterling, died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at UK Medical Center. He was born August 15, 1933 in Sharpsburg to the late Bramblett H. and Mattie Lee Jones.
George was a Montgomery County native, member of the Evergreen Baptist Church and retired from Monarch Mill. He enjoyed working, walking, exercising and worshipping God. He will be dearly missed by his family, church family and friends.
Survivors include; nieces and nephews, Doris B. Carter, Vance A. Jouett (Christie), Jennifer J. Jackson (Walter) and Elise Stevens, all of Mt. Sterling, Lanny L. Jouett (Joetta) of Frankfort, Andrea J. Turney (Rick) of Louisville, Marion F. Jones, Jr., Robert L. Jones and Barbara A. Rush (Roebuck), all of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Charlotte E. McCutchen (Herbert) of Whiting, New Jersey and Bernice M. DeJesus (Herminio) of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; host of great nieces & great nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James W. Jones and Marion B. Jones, Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy L. Jouett and Eva M. Johnson; one nephew, Mark A. Jouett.
