Grace Goebel Colliver Frodge, a beloved fixture of the Mt. Sterling community, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2026, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling, at the age of 98. Born on July 8, 1928, in Mt. Sterling, to the late William and Lillian Copher Colliver. Grace dedicated her life to her family and her faith, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished.
As a devoted homemaker to her family, Grace's influence extended far beyond her household. She was a lifelong member of the First Church of God, where she enriched the lives of many by teaching Sunday School and actively participating in the Women's Missionary Group. Her faith and service to others were cornerstones of her existence, pouring into her community with the same dedication she showed her family.
Grace was known for her love of puzzles and board games, often inviting family and friends to share in her joy of these activities. She cherished quiet moments journaling, reflecting on a life filled with faith experiences. Among her many talents, her butterscotch pies stood out, often regarded as the best, making family gatherings even more special and memorable.
Grace was the heart of her family, she is survived by her son, David Frodge; granddaughter, Elizabeth Frodge Martin (Matthew); great granddaughter, Juliet Martin, all will carry on her spirit and memory.
In addition to her late parents, Grace is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lewis Frodge and two sons, Jeffrey Frodge and Larry Frodge.
In honoring Grace's life and legacy, a visitation will be held at the First Church of God on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, 12:30 PM, funeral at 1:30 PM. Committal will be following at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor David Dooley officiating. Friends and family will gather to celebrate her life and the many ways she touched the hearts of those around her.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations in Grace's memory to the First Church of God, 1051 Camargo Road, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
Though she is no longer with us, Grace Goebel Frodge's love and contributions will remain woven into the fabric of the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
