Hank Ray Jones

Hank Ray Jones, of Frenchburg Kentucky, passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on Sunday evening, March 31, 2024 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. Born on August 18, 1966, in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, Hank was the beloved son of Farrell Barnes and Thelma Florence Jolly Barrett.

Throughout his life, Hank found joy in the simple pleasures - tending to his farm, collecting old pocket knives, guns, and tractors, and embracing the great outdoors through hunting.

Hank is survived by his wife, Angela Ferguson, loving father Farrell Barnes of Mt. Sterling, sister, Tawanna Huff (Billy) of Frenchburg, brothers, Vernon Jones (Sarina) of Jeffersonville and Shane Barnes (Donna) of Mt. Sterling, nieces and nephews, Brittany Yates (Tim) of Lexington, Nicholas Crouch (Rudy) of Morehead, Jesse Jones of West Liberty, Alisyn Peck and Kaylee Adams of Frenchburg, Beau Crouch of Sudith, Gabriel Yates of Frenchburg, Gracelynn Yates of Lexington, Alexandria Miles of Jeffersonville and Soren Miles of Jeffersonville.  Hank will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, nieces, and nephews, as well as his extended family and friends.
 
Hank was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Jolly Barrett, grandparents, George and Callie Anderson Jolly as well as aunts, Mattie Reffitt and Mildred Zola Sams.

Memorial service will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, April 5, 2024.  Visitation will be held prior from 5:00PM - 7:00PM.  Both will be held at Jeffersonville Assembly of God, 7220 Main Street, Jeffersonville, Kentucky 40337.  Pastor Robbie Conn will be officiating.
