Heather Nicole Douthitt

Heather Nicole Douthitt, 41, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday morning, March 29, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on July 6, 1980 to Arthur Clay, Jr. and Vedra Del Davis Douthitt.

Heather was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith and employed as an Executive Assistant with the Fayette County Health Department. She was a graduate of Montgomery County High School, class of 1998. Heather had the gift of evangelism and enjoyed; reading, instructing zumba, fashion, and spending time with family and friends. Her children were the highlight of her life. She will be dearly missed and never forgotten by her family and friends.

Heather is survived by her loving parents; Arthur Douthitt, Jr. and Vedra Davis Douthitt of Mt. Sterling, Ky; two beloved children; Breydan Del Neal and Alexander Cain Neal of Lexington,Ky ;a sister, Katisha Cecil(Will) of Nashville, TN; her loving paternal grandmother Irene Douthitt( also known as "Granny"; uncles; Anthony "Bubbles" Davis of Lexington and Tony Douthitt (known as Uncle Tony); two great uncles; Randy Randolph of Winchester and Occelius Davis of Nicholasville; nieces Mashayla Cecil and Taniah Cecil of Nashville, TN, a special cousin, Jasmine Delshae Steele of Illinois and a whole host of cousins and close friends.

Heather was preceded in death by two brothers; Arthur Douthitt III and Arthur Douthitt IV; paternal grandfather, Arthur Clay Douthitt, Sr., and maternal grandparents, Deloris Del Davis and William Lewis Stevenson.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 4, 2022 at 12:00PM. Visitation will be Sunday, April 3rd, 2022  from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.  Both services will be held at the First Christian Church, 222 West Main St. Mt. Sterling ,Kentucky. Committal will immediately follow the funeral service at  Olive Hill Cemetery. Pastor (her dad) Arthur Clay Douthitt, Jr. and Minister Ricky Walker will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that a donation be made to her children, Breydan and Alexander. Breydan will be attending Western University this Fall and Alexander is currently enrolled in Craft Academy at Morehead State University, Morehead, Kentucky.
