Herbert Andrew Ryles

Herbert Andrew Ryles, 76, of Mt. Sterling, died Sunday, December 17, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1941 in Palm City, California to the late John Ryles and Clara Overstreet Geiger.
Herbert moved to Kentucky from California in 1982, he was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, Vietnam veteran and formally a Clark County Sherriff Deputy. He enjoyed; the water, boating, fishing, Nascar, UK basketball and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his beloved wife, Betty Whitt Ryles of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Whitney Ryles of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Eric Gibson, Reigh Gibson, both of Mt. Sterling and Aaron Vasquez of Sandy Hook; one brother, David Ryles (Runie) of San Francisco, California.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Ryles.
