Ignatius "Skip" F. Calderone Sr. 75, of Mt. Sterling died Friday, March 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born July 15, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Michael and Rose Lombado Calderone.
"Skip" passed peacefully at home in Mt. Sterling. He was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed; cooking, sketches, pastels, sculpting and traveling. "Skip" was a Chicago White Sox fan, liked to hunt, fish and shoot pool. He will be forever remembered by his family and friends.
Survivors include; his special friend Theresa Brongel of Mt. Sterling, two sons Ignatius "Skip" Calderone Jr. (Melody) of Jeffersonville and Michael Calderone of IN, daughter Denean Calderone of IN, brother Michael Calderone (Debbie) of IN, sister Kathy Naujokas of Mt. Sterling, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Stephan Calderone and sister Angie Romano.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for his family and friends Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at 10:00AM, at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 315 South Queen Street, Mt. Sterling, KY. Father Frank Brawner will be officiating.
