James "Tommy" Thomas Scott

James "Tommy" Thomas Scott, 65, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday March 4, 2014, at UK Medical Center. He was born May 6, 1948 in Mt. Sterling to the late Barney and Virginia Risner Scott.
Tommy was a Montgomery County native and was previously employed by the City of Mt. Sterling in the Public Works Department. Tommy had a quiet, laid back personality; he enjoyed yard work, fishing, watching car races and football. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Tommy was survived by one brother, Harry Scott, Jr. (Lisa) of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Margaret Scott Crump (James) and Shelby Scott Lindon, both of Mt. Sterling; three nephews, Randy Crump, Kevin Crump (Krystle) and Dustin Crump, all of Mt. Sterling and one niece, Carla Lynn Crump of Mt. Sterling.
