Janice (Stewart) Meadows

July 27, 1948 — October 14, 2021

Janice Stewart Meadows, 73, of Mt. Sterling, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Clark Regional Medical Center.  She was born in Mt. Sterling on July 27, 1948 to the late Elliott "Junior" Stewart, Jr. and Juanita Craycraft Stewart Hart.

Janice was a Montgomery County native, retired from Precision Resources and a member of Spring Street Baptist Church.  She enjoyed; crafts, meeting people, genealogy, reading and most of all, spending time with her family.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Janice is survived by one son, Robert M. Meadows (Gail Harris) of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Anita L. Wells of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Taylor Thompson (Brittany) of Morehead, Tanner Thompson of Mt. Sterling, Jonah Wells of Mt. Sterling, Bradley Meadows (Alexes) of Jeffersonville and Gregory Meadows (Kayla) of Ft. Campbell; one great grandchild, Jameson Meadows of Jeffersonville; two brothers, Jimmy Stewart (Linda) and William "Bill" Stewart (Kathy), both of Mt. Sterling' one sister, Mary Cotton of Mt. Sterling; her dog, Shovelhead and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband; Robert "Butch" Meadows.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Machpelah Cemetery.  Pastor Larry Robinson will be officiating.
