John Lassiter Miller, 47, husband of Bitsy Pinson Miller, died Thursday morning, August 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. He was born September 9, 1965 on the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, in Onslow County, North Carolina to the late George and Virgie Stewart Miller.
John had been a resident of Montgomery County since 1988; He honorably served in the United States Marine Corps and was currently the manager at Hardee's restaurant in Stanton. He enjoyed sports, camping, fishing and traveling. His greatest joy was spending time with his family whom he loved so dearly.
Survivors include; his wife of 24 years, Bitsy Jane Pinson Miller of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Emily Jane Paige Miller of Mt. Sterling; two brothers, Randall George Miller (Nelda) of Versailles and Hubert Wayne Miller of Mt. Sterling; one sister, Sherie Lynn Tomblin (Allen) of Owingsville; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: Tim Swartz, Shane Pinson, Ty Pinson, Cody Kampe, Jeremy Moore, Brian Peck, Lanny Howard, and Mark Howard.
