Jorene Turner Snelling White, 71, of Jeffersonville, died Thursday morning, August 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born May 5, 1943 in Elliott County to the late Charlie and Mollie Mae Moore Turner.
Survivors include; two children, Mary Snelling (Tommy) of Mt. Sterling and Nell Lee (Walter) of Jeffersonville; three brothers, Willy Turner (Dora) and Lonze Turner (Sherry) both of Sandy Hook and Donald Turner (Sue) of Grayson; two sisters, Betty Hutchinson (Roland) of Sandy Hook and Maxine Smith (Donald) of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Linda Adams, Erica Turner and Brandon Lee; six great grandchildren, Tyler and Morgan Esteppe, Emily, Kendall and Kolten Updike and Paislee Donathan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William Snelling and Woodrow White; a brother, Bo Turner.
Pallbearers: Brandon Lee, Richard Henderson, Mitchell Smith, Charles Smith, Jeff Smith, and Carl Shepherd.
