Joseph "Joe" Russell Beaumont

February 3, 1934 — November 12, 2019

Joseph "Joe" Russell Beaumont, 85, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Lexington VA Medical Center.  He was born on February 3, 1934 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and June Kendrick Beaumont.

Joe moved to Montgomery County four years ago from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He was a retired truck driver and a United States Army veteran.  Joe was a Mason and enjoyed his Masonic brotherhood.  He also enjoyed; sudoko puzzles, board games, fishing, hunting, recreational boating and being a volunteer policeman in Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Scott Beaumont of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Karen Arnold (Scott) of Tennessee and Ronna Wasik of Pennsylvania; one step-son, Kevin Scott (Mona) of Mt. Sterling; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by two brothers, William Beaumont and Chuck Beaumont; one son-in-law, Danny Wasik.

Visitation Gathering/Funeral will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM at the Coffman Funeral Home & Crematory with military and Masonic rites.  Committal service will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.  Pastor Patrick Lager will be officiating.
