Joshua Shane Conkright

Joshua Shane Conkright, 25, of Mt. Sterling, died Friday morning, September 22, 2017 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester. He was born August 7, 1992 in Mt. Sterling.
Joshua was a Montgomery County native, of the Christian faith and a graduate from Montgomery County High School. He enjoyed playing Xbox, UK basketball and Dallas Cowboys. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include; mother, Amy Taulbee (Jason) of Mt. Sterling; father, Chris Conkright (Evyonne) of Mt. Sterling; one brother, Dustin Conkright of Mt. Sterling; two sisters, Kacie Taulbee and Kierra Taulbee, both of Mt. Sterling; grandparents, Rena Purvis (Greg), Charles Conkright (Phyllis), Sandy Conkright, all of Mt. Sterling; uncle, Matthew Jones of Mt. Sterling; great aunt, Elizabeth Cox (Todd) of Mt. Sterling; great grandparents, Marion and Gladys Martin of Mt. Sterling; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Flagg Francis and his uncle, John Jones.
Funeral will be Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00AM, Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, services at Jeffersonville Assembly of God. Burial will follow the funeral at Machpelah Cemetery. Pastor Robbie Conn will be officiating.
Pallbearers: Ray Botts, Michael Sturgill, Daniel Taulbee and Jason Taulbee.
