Karlin Maria Roberts, a beloved elementary school teacher, passed away on April 19, 2024, at her residence in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. She was born on August 23, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Karl and Josephine Piccione Klingler. Karlin was known for her kind and caring nature, always putting her family first. Education was her passion, leading her to a successful career as an educator in the Fayette County Board of Education.

Beyond her teaching career, Karlin had many interests and hobbies. She found joy in traveling, boating with her family, gardening, and sewing. An animal lover, she dedicated her time and love to her Great Pyrenees, showcasing their beauty in dog shows and earning multiple best in show ribbons. Karlin was also a published author, achieving success with her children's book "October Moon On Lizard Ridge."

Karlin is survived by her son, Geoff Kampe, daughter-in-law, Darla Kampe, grandsons, Cody Kampe and Connor Kampe, two Great Pyrenees, Aneto and Vettore. Her family and dogs meant the world to her, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

Karlin Maria Roberts will forever be remembered for her warmth, compassion, and dedication to her students and family. May she rest in peace, her legacy living on in the lives she touched.

In addition to her parents, Karlin is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James "Jim" Roberts, Sr.
