Kenneth "Ken" LeRoy Seiders

Kenneth "Ken" LeRoy Seiders, 67, of Mt. Sterling, died on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at UK Hospital.  He was born on August 11, 1952 in Harrisburg, PA to Helen Neff Seiders and the late Ralph Seiders.

Ken relocated from Richmond, VA ten years ago and attended Queen Street Christian Fellowship, belonged to Kiwanis Club and was a NRA Member.  He earned a Masters of Social Work from the University of Kentucky and worked for the US Postal Service as a crisis intervention specialist. Ken was a Bible scholar who was passionate about his in depth studies of scripture.  He loved music, firearms, flying small planes, scuba diving, camping and canoeing.  His friends and family will miss him dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife Beckie Bradley Seiders of Mt. Sterling; one son Shaphan Seiders of Phoenix, AR; two brothers Norman Seiders (Carol) of Searcy, AK and Dan Seiders (Lorey) of Naperville, IL; one sister Pat Rasbury (Vince) of Inver Grove Heights, MN; one step son Brad Osburn (Shelly) of Jeffersonville and three grandchildren Drew Osburn, Perrin Osburn and Regan Osburn also of Jeffersonville.

He was preceded in death by his father Ralph Seiders.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00AM.  The service will be held at Queen Street Christian Fellowship.
