Kitty Jo (Cassity) Moore

Kitty Jo Cassity Moore, 80, of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling.  She was born on July 8, 1942, in Salt Lick, Kentucky to the late David and Maine Green Cassity.

Kitty was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, of the Christian faith and former registered nurse.  She was actively involved with Mt. Sterling seniors and was a Kentucky Colonel recipient.  She enjoyed, reading, playing cards and watching television game shows.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Kitty is survived by her husband, Terry Moore, Jr.; son, Theron "T.D." Moore of Mt. Sterling; daughter, Jodi Pernica (Tony) of Mt. Sterling; six grandchildren, Anthony Pernica, Alex Pernica, Alexis Snowden, Becky Ann Moore, Abby Moore and Sarah C. Moore.

In addition to her parents, Kitty was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Pittman.

Private family services will take place at a later date.
