It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Leisel Beckum Spencer, who left this world peacefully on July 31, 2026. Born on July 4, 1950, to the late Raymond Paul Spencer and Ava Rhae Puckett Spencer. Leisel lived a life full of purpose and passion, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Leisel dedicated her career to helping others as a tax preparer, navigating the complexities of accounting with patience and expertise. Her professional contributions were complemented by her commitment to her community, as an EMT, where she responded to emergencies with compassion and care.

A follower of her Christian beliefs, Leisel found solace and strength in her faith. She embraced life with a joyful spirit, enjoying moments spent at the beach and traveling to new destinations, often in the company of her beloved cats, who were a constant source of comfort and companionship.

Leisel is survived by her stepmother, Kathy Spencer, and cousins, Suzanne Moyer, James Meints, Jerry Meints, Terri Good, and Terry Workman & family who will carry her memory forward in love.

In addition to her late parents, she is preceded death by her brothers, Randy Spencer and Leon Hignite.

As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a remarkable woman whose spirit will continue to inspire each of us. Leisel Beckum Spencer will be deeply missed, but her memory will remain forever in our hearts.
