Linda Sue (Brown) Benson

Linda Sue Brown Benson, 75, of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Friday evening, November 18, 2022, at UK Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington. She was born on March 25, 1947, in Menifee County, Kentucky, to the late Kenneth and Carmie Askins Brown.

Linda was a Menifee County native, devoted Christian and cherished member of Tarr Ridge Church of God, she worked at various factories-Cowdens and Cooper Tires. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, sewing, reading and shopping, especially for shoes and coats.  Linda will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her husband; Dwain Benson of Frenchburg; one daughter; Vicki Sexton (P.D.) of Frenchburg; one grandson, Robert Davis of Morehead; six great grandchildren, Rene' Davis, Tristan Guimond, Nakayla Guimond, William Guimond, Kalyn Davis and Gabby Davis; two sisters; Patty Peck of Frenchburg, and Debbie Benson (Brian) of Frenchburg; one brother, Daniel Brown (Linda) of Frenchburg.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother; Harley Brown and two sisters; Karen Brown and Barbara Smith.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, November 23 at Egleston Cemetery on Tarr Ridge in Frenchburg, Kentucky.  Pastor Dennis Flannery will be officiating.

Pallbearers: Daniel Brown, Von Peck, Ryan Yarber, Tristan Guimond, Steve Cornett, David Cornett, and Travis Cornett.
