Linda Lou (Chandler) Martin

August 5, 1950 — April 6, 2023

Linda Lou Chandler Martin, 72, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday morning, April 6, 2023 at University of Kentucky Medical Center.  She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on August 5, 1950 to the late Burns "Shorty" and Maggie Kline Chandler.

Linda was a Montgomery County native, a member of Queen Street Christian Fellowship and a homemaker for her family.  She had a spunky personality and enjoyed camping, traveling, playing bingo and cards with senior citizens.  She loved being a mother and taking care of her family and her dogs.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her son, Todd Martin of Somerset; daughter, Sara Holland (Mark) of Mt. Sterling; two granddaughters, Yasmin Holland of Owingsville and Kaylie Holland of Mt. Sterling; sister, Burnetta Brown (Todd) of Lexington; nieces, Jessica Brown, Darcy Brown, Olivia Brown and Donita Chandler; nephews, Justin Brown, Logan Brown and Robbie Chandler.

In addition to his parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Martin and brother, Jerry Chandler.

Celebration of life service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday April 22, 2023 at Queen Street Christian Fellowship Reception Hall.  Pastor Tracy Crouch will be officiating.
