Lisa Ann Bowles, born on July 3, 1964, in Mt. Sterling, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at the age of 61 at her residence.
Raised in a close-knit family, Lisa's greatest pride was in her role as a fierce protector of her loved ones. Her larger-than-life personality lit up every room, and her warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to cross her path. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, and her love was felt by everyone she encountered.
Her passion for life extended beyond her work in sales; she loved spending time at the beach, cheering for UK sports teams, and challenging herself with puzzles. Lisa also had a penchant for shopping, finding joy in the little things that brought her happiness.
She is survived by her mother, Cookie Bowles Dudgeon; brother, Ricky Bowles; nieces, Katie Allen (Will) and Megan Martinez (Adrian); great nieces and nephew, Will Allen, Maggie Allen, Micah Allen, Morgan Allen, and Mallory Allen; special friend and caregiver, Tammy Vice.
Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Henry Bowles, Jr; paternal grandparents, Henry Sr. and Alma Bowles; maternal grandparents, Sidney and Maggie Moore.
In honor of Lisa's life, a Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, November 3 at 7:00PM. Visitation will be prior from 6:00PM to 7:00PM, both services at Dayspring A Church Alive in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Lisa's uncle, Eddie Ingram will be officiating. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering Lisa and sharing stories that reflect the love and joy she brought into their lives.
As we remember Lisa, let us carry forward her legacy of kindness, joy, and unwavering love for family and friends. She will forever remain in our hearts.
