I Lonnie Miller passed away on January 21, 2026, in Jeffersonville, Kentucky. Born on September 12, 1954, in Pineville, Kentucky, Lonnie dedicated 43 years of his life to working at International Paper, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. Lonnie's life was rich with love and family.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta, with whom he shared nearly eight years of marriage. His legacy continues through his children, Jennifer Quinlan (Ryan) and their sons Collin and Camren; Tim Miller (Amanda Ramsey) and Tim's children Davis and Emma; and Phillip Miller (Sarah Greene), with their children Jackson, Harrison, and Emersyn. Lonnie's memory is also cherished by his sisters, Kathy and Rosalie, and his brothers, Ernie and Noel. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patti, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage and a significant portion of his life. Lonnie was also preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Troy, his brothers James, Robert, and Paul, and his sister Geraldine.
Lonnie will be remembered for the love he held for his family, the music that brought him joy - often heard through his guitar - and the quiet kindness he extended to everyone around him. He touched many lives through his warmth, integrity, and the meaningful connections he built with all who knew him.
A service will be held on Saturday, the January 31st, at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Assembly of God Church, located at 1834 Owensville Road, Mt. Sterling, KY 40353. The service will be officiated by Pastor Scott Barns. A meal will be provided following the service.
