It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Manuel Lee Vance, who departed from this world on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the age of 72. Born in Lexington, on December 21, 1952, to the late Woodford and Beulah Copher Vance. Manuel spent his formative years in the heart of Bath County, graduating in 1970 from Bath County High School. His passion for life and dedication to his family and faith were the cornerstones of his existence.

A technician by trade, Manuel dedicated many years of his life to the wastewater treatment industry, where his commitment to improving community health and well-being was unwavering. Manuel's love for the outdoors was legendary; he found immense joy in hunting, gardening, and farming, often sharing these passions with his family. He was a true man of God, drawing strength and inspiration from his faith, which guided him throughout his life.

Manuel was also an ardent supporter of University of Kentucky basketball, with his vibrant spirit shining brightly during games, sharing in the joy and camaraderie that the sport brought. His love for nature, family, and sports intertwined to create a rich tapestry of cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Manuel is survived by his daughters, Raven Vance (James Adams) and Lyndsay Wills (Shane); son, Hunter Vance; grandchildren, Diamond, Dominic, Diesell, Kash, and Daisy; brother, Sam Copher (Debbie); sisters, Susie Copher (John Frederick) and Gail Hunt (Fairley); host of uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Manuel is preceded in death by his wife, Gail Toy Vance and two children passed away at birth and his sister, Gwen Otis.

Memorial service will be Saturday, August 30,2025 at 4:00PM at the residence of Sam Copher, 245 Tabor Road, Jeffersonville, Kentucky 40337.

In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in the many lives he touched and the love he freely shared. Manuel's spirit will forever remain an integral part of our lives, and we will miss him dearly.
