Manuel Vires, 50, of Mt. Sterling, died Monday, November 19, 2012 at his residence. He was born March 21, 1962 to Gladys Collins Vires and the late John Everett Vires.
Manuel was a Hazard native and moved to Mt. Sterling thirty years ago. He was a farmer, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, leather crafts, and horses.
Survivors include; his mother, Gladys Collins Vires of Mt. Sterling; three sisters, Josephine Centers (Jimmy) of Powell County, Velda Martin of Hazard, Linda Brown (Doug) of Pensacola, Florida.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Wayne Vires.
