Margaret "Margo" Ann Liggett

Margaret "Margo" Ann Howard Liggett, 68, of Mt. Sterling, died Tuesday afternoon, October 15, 2013 at St. Joseph Mt. Sterling. She was born in Bourbon County on March 28, 1945 to the late Silas P. and Amelia May Hamilton Howard.

Margo retired from Jockey as a Quality Control Inspector after 35 years. She was a member of Queen Street Christian Fellowship. She enjoyed reading and had a special fondness for her cats. She was also a talented decorator who enjoyed decorating her own home, this passion led her to sell Home Interiors for many years.

Margo is survived by her husband of 38 years, Carl Vernon Liggett of Mt. Sterling; one son, Vernon Dean Liggett of Mt. Sterling; two daughters, Carlene Morrison (Eric) of Winchester and Monna Clark (Don) of Paris; three sisters, Ruby DeAtley of Carlisle, Barbara Arnold and Geneva Howard both of Paris; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; seventeen nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Orville Howard, Melvine Howard, Frank Howard, Henry Howard and Paul Howard; two sisters, Thelma McCord and Edith Buzzard.

Pallbearers: Jeremy Hanna, Eric Hanna, Michael Brown, Allen DeAtley, Mike McCord, Timmy Howard, Arthur Buzzard, Larry Buzzard,Garry Buzzard, and William Melvin Howard.
